Ms. Crane
This is my 23rd year of teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District. I have taught at four different schools in the district and I've taught grades K through eight in various capacities. In 1990 I earned by Bachelor's in Education from Arizona State University and in 1995 I finished my Masters in Elementary Education at Arizona State University with an emphasis in technology. I also have an Early Childhood Endorsement, SEI Endorsement & my Gifted Endorsement, I love taking classes as much as teaching them! This is my 16th year in kindergarten. I love teaching and I enjoy watching the children develop and grow throughout the year!
When I'm not in the classroom I enjoy camping, hiking, Boxing, Body Pump & RPM classes & four wheeling with my family & friends up North & at the dunes. Our latest passion is taking our RZR out and seeing all parts of Arizona and the great outdoors. We even do "all weekend" rides to Crown King or Prescott & back; quite the adventure & great photos too!
My son, Kody, is in his second year at Glendale Community College. Kody's dad and I celebrated 25 years together this summer & we are looking forward to 25 more!
Children grow up so fast and I'm happy to be able to be a part of your children's lives. This year is going to be awesome; I hope you are able to join us in the classroom from time to time so that you can share in all of the excitement and learning. The year will go by so quickly, treasure each day!

This marks my 11th year in education. I have a Bachelor’s in Human Development with an emphasis in the Exceptionalities from UC Riverside and a Master’s in Education from UCLA. I have received teaching credentials in general and special education with endorsements in Early Childhood and SEI.
I taught for nine years in California, after which time I decided to take an extended leave of absence to be a stay-at-home parent. I thoroughly enjoyed that time, though I found as I became active in the PTA and volunteered in my children’s classrooms that I missed teaching very much. My children, who attend Legend Springs, are now not so little and celebrate with me as I get ready to begin my second year with the Kindergarten team at Legend Springs, having taught in the Extended Day program last year.
My free time includes outdoor adventures with my husband Eddie and sons Kyle and Connor. We like to hike, camp, and explore new terrain, with our latest and greatest adventure being in Moab, Utah, so beautiful! When time permits we like to travel back to California to see family and to squeeze in a beach day or two. I also like to stay fit and am training for my second half marathon this October!
I am so excited for this school year to begin and to have the opportunity to get to know all of you. I know we are going to have a great year, learning a lot and having fun in the process!
